Introduction
TPS22968x is a small, ultra-low RON dual-channel load switch with controlled turn-on. The device contains two N-channel MOSFETs operating over an input voltage range of 0.8 to 5.5V, with each channel supporting up to 4A of continuous current. Each switch is individually controlled by an on/off input (ON1 and ON2) that can be directly interfaced with low-voltage control signals. To enable fast output discharge when the switch is off, TPS22968 incorporates an on-chip 270Ω load resistor. The TPS22968x is available in a small, space-saving package (DPU) with an integrated thermal pad to support high power dissipation. The device is rated for operation from –40 to +105°C in a natural convection environment.
