Introduction
TPS22993 is a multi-channel, low R<sub>ON</sub> load switch with user-programmable features. The device contains four N-channel MOSFETs capable of operating over an input voltage range of 1.0V to 3.6V. The switch is I2C-controlled, making it well-suited for use with processors that have a limited number of GPIOs. The rise time of the TPS22993 is internally controlled to prevent inrush current. The TPS22993 offers five programmable slew rate options, four turn-on delay options, and four quick output discharge (QOD) resistance options. The device channels can be controlled via GPIO or I2C. The default operating mode is GPIO control through the ONx pins. The I2C slave address pin can be tied high or low to assign 7 unique device addresses. The TPS22993 is available in a space-saving RLW package (0.4mm ball pitch) and operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
