Introduction
The TPS22975 product family includes two devices: TPS22975 and TPS22975N. Each device is a single-channel load switch with configurable rise time to minimize inrush current. The device incorporates an N-channel MOSFET that operates over an input voltage range of 0.6V to 5.7V and supports a maximum continuous current of 6A. The switch is controlled by an ON/OFF input (ON) that can be directly connected to low-voltage control signals. The TPS22975 includes an optional 230Ω on-chip load resistor for fast output discharge when the switch is turned off. The TPS22975 is available in a small, space-saving 2mm×2mm 8-pin SON package (DSG) with an integrated thermal pad that allows the device to dissipate higher power. The device is rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C in a natural convection environment.
