Introduction
The TLC6C5912-Q1 is a monolithic, medium-voltage, low-current 12-bit shift register designed for systems requiring relatively moderate load power (such as LEDs). The device contains a 12-bit serial-input parallel-output shift register that feeds data into a 12-bit D-type storage register. Data is transferred through the shift register and storage register on the rising edges of the shift register clock (SRCK) and register clock (RCK), respectively. When the shift register clear (CLR) is high, the storage register transfers data to the output buffer. A low CLR clears all registers in the device. Holding output enable (G) high keeps all data in the output buffer low and turns off all drain outputs. Holding G low makes the storage register data transparent to the output buffer.
