Introduction
This amplifier features ultralow offset, drift, and bias current characteristics. The AD8628/AD8629/AD8630 are wide-bandwidth, auto-zero amplifiers with rail-to-rail input and output swing and low noise, operating from a 2.7V to 5V single supply (±1.35V to ±2.5V dual supply). The AD8628/AD8629/AD8630 deliver performance advantages previously available only in expensive auto-zero or chopper-stabilized amplifiers. These zero-drift amplifiers employ a circuit topology that combines low cost with high precision and low noise, requiring no external capacitors. In addition, the AD8628/AD8629/AD8630 significantly reduce the digital switching noise associated with most chopper-stabilized amplifiers. With an offset voltage of only 1μV, offset voltage drift of less than 0.005μV/°C, and noise of only 0.5μV peak-to-peak (0Hz to 10Hz), the AD8628/AD8629/AD8630 are ideal for applications that cannot tolerate error sources. These devices exhibit near-zero drift over the operating temperature range, making them highly beneficial for position and pressure sensors, medical equipment, and strain gauge amplifier applications. Many systems can take advantage of the rail-to-rail input and output swing capability of the AD8628/AD8629/AD8630 to reduce input biasing complexity and maximize signal-to-noise ratio.
