Introduction
SH79M083A is a high-speed, high-efficiency 8051-compatible microcontroller. At the same oscillation frequency, it offers superior performance with faster execution speed compared to traditional 8051 chips.
SH79M083A retains most features of the standard 8051, including 256 bytes of built-in RAM, two 16-bit timers/counters, one UART, and external interrupts INT0, INT1, and INT2. In addition, SH79M083A integrates 256 bytes of external RAM and an 8052-compatible 16-bit timer/counter (Timer2). The microcontroller also includes an 8K-byte MTP block for program and data storage.
It features an EUART standard communication module, along with an integrated ADC with built-in comparison function and PWM.
To achieve high reliability and low power consumption, SH79M083A incorporates a watchdog timer, low-voltage reset, and low-voltage detection. SH79M083A also provides two low-power saving modes.
