TPS560430 is an easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converter capable of driving load currents up to 600mA. With a wide input voltage range of 4V to 36V, it is well suited for power regulation from unregulated power supplies in applications ranging from industrial to automotive.

The TPS560430 offers two operating frequencies — 1.1MHz and 2.1MHz — for high-frequency or compact solution designs. It also features FPWM (Forced PWM) mode, enabling constant frequency operation and low output voltage ripple across the full load range. Soft-start and compensation are implemented internally, minimizing the number of external components required.

The device incorporates built-in protection features, including cycle-by-cycle current limiting, hiccup-mode short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown in the event of excessive power dissipation. The TPS560430 is available in a SOT-23-6 package.
