Introduction
The TPS62085, TPS62086, and TPS62087 devices are high-frequency synchronous buck converters optimized for small solution size and high efficiency. The input voltage range of 2.5V to 6.0V supports common battery technologies. These devices are primarily designed for high-efficiency step-down conversion across a wide output current range. The converter operates in pulse-width modulation (PWM) mode under moderate-to-heavy loads and automatically enters power-save mode under light loads, maintaining high efficiency across the entire load current range. To meet system power rail requirements, the internal compensation circuit supports a wide range of external output capacitance values from 10µF to 150uF. Leveraging the DCS-Control architecture, the device achieves excellent load transient performance and output regulation accuracy. The device is available in a 2mm×2mm VSON package.
