Introduction
The LM27761 low-noise regulated switched capacitor voltage inverter can provide an adjustable ultra-low-noise output for input voltages in the range of 2.7V to 5.5V. By using four low-cost capacitors in the application solution, it can provide an output current of up to 250mA. The regulated output of this device can be adjusted in the range of -5V to -1.5V. The LM27761 operates at a switching frequency of 2MHz (typical) to reduce the output resistance and voltage ripple. The operating current of the LM27761 is only 370μA (the charge pump power efficiency is higher than 80% for most loads), and the typical shutdown current is 7μA. Therefore, it can provide ideal performance when driving power amplifiers, DAC bias power rails, and other high-current, low-noise voltage applications.
