The TPS3851-Q1 device combines a precision voltage monitor and a programmable watchdog timer. The TPS3851-Q1 comparator can achieve an accuracy of 0.8% (from -40°C to +125°C) for the undervoltage (VITN) threshold on the VDD pin. The TPS3851-Q1 also includes high-precision hysteresis related to the undervoltage threshold, making it an ideal choice for systems with small tolerances. The RESET delay of this monitor has a high-precision delay time with an accuracy of 15%. The TPS3851-Q1 includes a programmable window watchdog timer, which is widely applicable to various applications. The dedicated watchdog output (WDO) helps improve the resolution, thereby helping to determine the root cause of fault conditions. The watchdog timeout can be programmed through an external capacitor, or the factory-programmed default delay settings can be used. The watchdog can be disabled through a logic pin to avoid unexpected watchdog timeouts during the development process. The TPS3851-Q1 is available in a small 3.00mm × 3.00mm, 8-pin VSON package. The TPS3851-Q1 has wettable flanks for easy optical inspection.
