Introduction
SP706P/R/S/T/J, SP708R/S/T/J, SP705/6/8, and SP813L are primarily used for monitoring power supply voltage and battery voltage. A reset signal is generated when the supply voltage falls below 2.63V (SP706P/R, SP708R), 2.93V (SP706S, SP708S), 3.08V (SP706T, SP708T), 4.00V (SP706J, SP708J), 4.40V (SP706/SP708), or 4.65V (SP705, SP813L). SP706P/R/S/T/J, SP705/706/813L feature a watchdog circuit with a 1.6-second reset timeout. Leaving the WDI pin floating disables the watchdog timer. SP708R/S/T/J and SP708 provide both active-high and active-low reset outputs, but have no watchdog function. SP706P is functionally equivalent to SP706R, except that SP706P outputs an active-high reset. SP813L is functionally equivalent to SP705, except that SP813L outputs an active-high reset. A built-in 1.25V comparator is available for battery low-voltage monitoring. All devices support manual reset. Available in 8-pin SOP and compact MSOP packages.
