KTH7812 is a high-precision angular Hall sensor IC offering up to 16-bit resolution angle output, enabling contactless magnetic field angle measurement in both on-axis and off-axis applications. The device delivers fast and accurate angle information across a speed range of 0 to 120,000 rpm, making it suitable for various applications requiring precise angle measurement and speed control. It provides multiple flexible angle output modes, including programmable ABZ quadrature pulse output up to 4096 steps per revolution and programmable UVW commutation output with 1 to 8 pole pairs, to accommodate diverse application requirements. In addition, the device supports a 4-wire SPI interface for angle readout and register communication. An integrated magnetic field strength detection function allows users to program upper and lower magnetic field strength thresholds for real-time monitoring and selection of the appropriate magnet and mounting distance. The device also integrates multiple-time programmable (MTP) memory for storing key configuration parameters such as reference zero angle, ABZ encoder settings, and magnetic field detection thresholds, supporting flexible configuration and adjustment across different application scenarios.
