Introduction
The CM2248 is a 16-bit, 8-channel simultaneous sampling analog data acquisition system. Each channel incorporates analog input clamp protection, a second-order anti-aliasing filter, a track-and-hold amplifier, and a 16-bit SAR ADC, with an integrated flexible digital filter, 2.5V voltage reference, reference buffer, and high-speed serial and parallel interfaces. The device operates from a single 5V supply, handles true bipolar input signals of ±10V and ±5V, and supports sampling rates up to 200kSPS across all channels. The input clamp protection circuit can withstand voltages up to ±18.5V across various sampling frequencies. The 1MΩ high input impedance and on-chip filters significantly simplify peripheral circuit design.
