TI TCA9534APWR

The TCA9534A is a 16-pin device that provides 8-bit general-purpose parallel I/O expansion for the two-wire bidirectional I²C bus (or SMBus) protocol. The device operates over a supply voltage range of 1.65V to 5.5V, allowing use with a wide variety of devices. It supports clock frequencies of 100kHz (standard mode) and 400kHz (fast mode). When switches, sensors, buttons, LEDs, fans, and other similar devices require additional I/O, I/O expanders such as the TCA9534A provide a simple solution.

Features of the TCA9534A include interrupt generation on the INT pin, which notifies the master device whenever the input port state changes. Hardware-selectable address pins A0, A1, and A2 allow up to eight TCA9534A devices to share the same I²C bus. The device also supports power-cycling to generate a power-on reset, returning it to the default state.
