CA-IS3115AW-Q1 is an automotive-grade isolated DC-DC converter IC supporting 5.0kVrms isolation voltage, integrating an on-chip transformer to efficiently deliver 1.5W of power to the secondary-side output. This device employs a proprietary control architecture that enables fast load transient response and precise output voltage regulation. The CA-IS3115AW-Q1 can replace traditional isolated power supply solutions built from discrete components, offering a smaller footprint with full galvanic isolation.

The CA-IS3115AW-Q1 integrates multiple protection features including soft-start, short-circuit protection, and over-temperature protection to enhance system reliability. It features an EN pin: when EN is driven low, the output voltage is reduced to zero, and the supply draws only microampere-level standby input current.

The CA-IS3115AW-Q1 supports four selectable output voltages via the SEL pin — 5V, 3.3V, 5.4V, and 3.7V — with support for an output-side LDO to accommodate various user voltage requirements. The CA-IS3115AW-Q1 is available in a 16-pin wide-body SOIC package with creepage and clearance distances greater than 8mm, a maximum isolation voltage rating of 5kVrms, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
