Descrizione
CA-IS372x-Q1 is a high-performance 2-channel digital isolator with precise timing characteristics and low power consumption. When isolating CMOS digital I/O, the device provides high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions. All device versions feature Schmitt-trigger inputs for high noise immunity.
The logic input and output buffers of each isolation channel are separated by a silicon dioxide insulating barrier. The CA-IS3720 features two forward channels, the CA-IS3721 has one forward and one reverse channel, and the CA-IS3722 is opposite to CA-IS3721 with one reverse and one forward channel. All devices offer a failsafe mode option. If the input-side power supply fails or the signal is lost, devices with the suffix L default to a low output, while devices with the suffix H default to a high output.
The CA-IS372x-Q1 devices offer high isolation capability, helping to prevent noise and surges on data buses or other circuits from reaching the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry. High CMTI capability ensures correct transmission of digital signals. The CA-IS372x-Q1 devices are available in 8-pin narrow-body SOIC, 8-pin wide-body SOIC, and 16-pin wide-body SOIC packages. All products carry an isolation rating of 3.75kV<sub>RMS</sub>, and wide-body package variants support reinforced insulation voltage up to 5kV<sub>RMS</sub>.
