Introduction
The TLV237x-Q1 is a single-supply op amp with rail-to-rail input and output capability. The TLV237x-Q1 operates from a minimum supply voltage of 2.7V up to 16V over the extended automotive temperature range. This wide voltage range supports start-stop functionality and allows direct connection to a typical 12V battery. The rail-to-rail capability enables maximum output signal swing while preventing clipping. CMOS inputs provide high impedance suitable for engine control units (ECUs), body control modules (BCMs), battery management systems (BMSs), and HEV/EV inverters. This also allows users to reduce consumed offset voltage while maintaining low power consumption, helping to meet overall system quiescent current requirements for applications such as infotainment systems, instrument clusters, HEV/EV, and powertrains. Additionally, the TLV237x-Q1 family supports a high common-mode rail on the supply voltage. This feature imposes no gain restrictions and supports input signals at any level without concern for phase inversion.
