Introduction
The TLV522 is a 500nA dual nanopower op amp featuring 8kHz gain bandwidth and 500nA quiescent current, making it ideal for common battery-powered applications in building automation and remote sensing nodes. The device's CMOS input stage enables ultra-low IBIAS, reducing errors commonly introduced in megaohm-range feedback resistor topologies such as high-impedance photodiode and charge detection applications. In addition, the built-in EMI protection reduces the device's susceptibility to unintended RF signals from cell phones, WiFi, radio transmitters, and RFID readers. The TLV522 is available in an 8-pin VSSOP (MSOP) package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
