Introduction
MIC29302WU(MS) is a low dropout, high current, high accuracy voltage regulator. A PNP transistor fabricated using super-β PNP process serves as the pass element. At full load (3A), the input-to-output dropout voltage is only 370mV (typical) and the ground pin current is only 37mA (typical). This device is also suitable for low current, ultra-low dropout power supply applications. MIC29302WU(MS) features overcurrent protection, reverse input voltage protection, overtemperature protection, and transient spike voltage protection. Device operation or shutdown can be controlled via the logic level applied to the enable pin; in shutdown mode, the device consumes extremely low power. The enable pin can also be connected directly to the input supply to keep the device in active mode. MIC29302WU(MS) is available in a TO-263-5 package.
