The ACI Platinum Room Series combines flexibility with an attractive form factor in "-R2" or "-R" style enclosures. These enclosures feature a four-way airflow design to minimize sensor self-heating. Depending on the enclosure style, they are available in white "-R2" or beige "-R" colors, designed for mounting on single-gang junction boxes or wall cutouts using drywall anchors. The beige "-R" style enclosure is optionally available with an LCD display. Screw terminal blocks are provided for connection to building management systems. An optional 3.175 mm (1/8 in.) black foam pad with pressure-sensitive adhesive is available to isolate the sensor from warm air currents within the wall or wall surface temperature effects. The cover can be secured with a 1/16 in. hex screwdriver to prevent easy removal. The "LCD" option uses two temperature sensors to monitor ambient air temperature within the space, with single-point factory calibration.
