Introduction
This series of SMT Zener voltage regulators meets MIL-PRF-19500/406 requirements, making them ideal for high-reliability applications where failures cannot be tolerated. These industry-recognized 1.5W Zener voltage regulators feature internal metallurgical bonding and are hermetically sealed using a void-free glass construction. The series includes Zener selections with a standard 5% tolerance and voltages ranging from 3.3V to 200V. Versions with 1% and 2% tolerances are also available. Microsemi offers numerous other Zener products to address higher and lower power requirements in through-hole and SMT packages.

- Surface mount versions equivalent to popular JEDEC registered series.
- Void-free hermetically sealed glass package.
- Triple passivation.
- Extremely rugged construction.
- 1N4462US through 1N4496US use internal "Class 1" metallurgical bonding; 1N6485US through 1N6491US, 1N4460US, and 1N4461US use "Class III" metallurgical bonding.
- JAN, JANTX, JANTXV, and JANS certifications available per MIL-PRF-19500/406.
- RoHS compliant versions available (commercial grade only).
Applications
Regulates voltage over a wide range of operating current and temperature; voltage selection range from 3.3V to 200V; standard voltage tolerance of ±5%; tighter tolerances of ±2% or ±1% available; insensitive to electrostatic discharge per MIL-STD-750 Method 1020; inherent radiation hardness as described in Microsemi MicroNote 050.
