Introduction
The LSF series are bidirectional voltage level translators operating at voltages between 1.0V to 4.5V (Vref_A) and 1.8V to 5.5V (Vref_B). This device enables bidirectional voltage translation from 1.0V to 5.0V in open-drain or push-pull applications without requiring a direction terminal. For open-drain systems using 15pF capacitors and 165Ω pull-up resistors, the LSF series supports level translation applications with transmission speeds greater than 100MHz. When the An or Bn port is low, the switch is in the on state, and a low-resistance connection exists between the An and Bn ports. The low on-resistance (Ron) of the switch enables the connection with minimal propagation delay and signal distortion. The voltage at port A or port B will be clamped to Vref_A and can be pulled up to any voltage level between Vref_A and 5V. This feature enables seamless translation between user-selected higher and lower voltages without the need for direction control.
