The W25Q64JV (64M-bit) Serial Flash provides a storage solution for systems with space, pin, and power constraints. The 25Q series offers far greater flexibility and performance than ordinary serial flash devices. They are ideal for code shadowing to RAM, executing code directly via Dual/Quad SPI (XIP), and storing voice, text, and data. The device operates from a 2.7V to 3.6V supply with power-down current consumption as low as 1μA. All devices are available in space-saving packages. The W25Q64JV array consists of 32,768 programmable pages, each 256 bytes. Up to 256 bytes can be programmed at a time. Pages can be erased in groups of 16 (4KB Sector Erase), 128 (32KB Block Erase), 256 (64KB Block Erase), or the entire chip (Chip Erase). The W25Q64JV has 2,048 erasable sectors and 128 erasable blocks respectively. The small 4KB sectors provide greater flexibility for applications requiring data and parameter storage.
