Introduction
The production process is strictly controlled and follows a set of instructions established for repeatability. Thick film layers are deposited on advanced ceramic substrates. Resistive elements are covered by a protective coating for electrical, mechanical, and climatic protection. Wraparound terminations are finally plated with pure tin over nickel. Results of production are verified through an extensive test program. Only conforming products are placed directly into tape per EIA 481 standard. These resistors are suitable for processing by automatic SMT assembly systems and are compatible with automatic soldering by wave soldering and solder paste reflow. Due to their design, arrays feature automatic pick-and-place capability. Resistors are lead-free (Pb-free), and the pure tin plating makes them compatible with both lead-free and leaded soldering processes. All products comply with the CEFIC - EECA - EICTA list of legal restrictions on hazardous substances, including full compatibility with multiple directives.
