Introduction
This series of flat-top package lamps features colorless non-diffused truncated lenses, providing a wide radiation pattern suitable for backlighting applications. Flat-top lamps are also suitable for use as emitters in light pipe applications. Dome-package indicator lamps feature colored diffused lenses, offering wide viewing angles and high on/off contrast ratios. High-brightness lamps use colorless non-diffused lenses to deliver high luminous intensity within a narrow radiation pattern. 5V subminiature lamps with built-in current-limiting resistors are designed for space-constrained applications. All devices are formed as molded epoxy subminiature lamp packages by encapsulating LED dies on axial lead frames. Multiple package configuration options are available, including special surface-mount lead configurations — gull-wing, yoke, or Z-bend. Right-angle lead bends are available with 2.54 mm and 5.08 mm center spacing for through-hole mounting.
