Introduction
The ATL43xLI devices are 3-terminal adjustable shunt regulators that meet specified thermal stability across applicable automotive-grade and commercial-grade temperature ranges. The output voltage can be set to any value between Vref (approximately 2.5V) and 36V using two external resistors. These devices feature a typical output impedance of 0.3Ω. The active output circuitry provides a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making these devices excellent replacements for Zener diodes in many applications, including on-board voltage regulation, adjustable power supplies, and switching power supplies. This device is a pin-to-pin replacement for the TL431LI and TL432LI with a lower minimum operating current, helping to reduce system power consumption. The ATL432LI device offers identical functionality and electrical characteristics to the ATL431LI device, but with a different DBZ package pinout. The ATL431LI device is available in two grades, A and B, with initial tolerances of 1% and 0.5% at 25°C, respectively. In addition, low output temperature drift ensures excellent stability across the entire temperature range. The ATL43xLIxQ devices are rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
