It supports PCI Express Gen3, SATA Express, and SATA Gen3. The TUSB1002A is the first dual-channel USB 3.2 x1 SuperSpeed Plus (SSP) retimer and signal conditioner. It uses an ultra-low-power architecture, is powered by a 3.3V supply, and has very low power consumption. It supports the USB 3.2 low-power mode, which can further reduce the power consumption in the idle state. It implements a linear equalizer that can tolerate up to 16dB of loss introduced by inter-symbol interference (ISI). The linear equalizer can compensate for channel losses, thereby extending the channel transmission distance and making the system comply with the USB specification. With its dual-channel and small package, it can be flexibly placed in the USB 3.2 path. It comes in a 24-pin 4mm x 4mm VQFN package and is available in commercial-grade (TUSB1002A) and industrial-grade (TUSB1002AI) versions.
