Introduction
A multi-function power management SOC integrating a boost converter, lithium battery charge management, and battery level indication, providing a complete power solution for portable power banks. High integration and rich features require minimal external components, effectively reducing overall solution size and BOM cost. A single inductor supports both buck and boost functions. The DC-DC converter operates at 650KHz, compatible with low-cost inductors and capacitors. The synchronous boost system delivers up to 2A output current with conversion efficiency up to 95%. Under no-load conditions, the device automatically enters sleep mode with quiescent current dropping to 50uA. Switching charge technology provides up to 1.5A charging current with charging efficiency up to 96%. Built-in IC temperature and input voltage sensing intelligently regulate charging current. An integrated 14-bit ADC accurately measures battery voltage and current, supporting 3/4/5 LED battery level display and lighting functions. Available in ESOP16L package.
