STEVAL-STLCS01V1 (SensorTile) is a highly integrated reference design that plugs into form-factor prototypes, enabling new designs to add sensing and connectivity functionality through a smart hub solution. It also readily supports the development of monitoring and tracking applications, such as standalone sensor nodes connected to iOS or Android smartphone apps. SensorTile occupies a very compact 13.5×13.5 mm square footprint, with all electronic components on the top side and a small connector on the bottom for insertion into an expansion board socket. The connector pinout is replicated across 18 PCB pads, allowing SensorTile to also function as a solderable system-in-module.
