Introduction
The FCSS features an IEC320-C14 power inlet with a single fuse holder accessible from the front (when the power connector is disconnected), combined with a power EMI filter in a compact single housing that delivers excellent attenuation in a compact module. When installed in mains-powered IT equipment, they provide excellent attenuation of conducted EMI from the mains while reducing any emissions conducted from the equipment back to the mains. Suitable for Class I appliances, all models feature a shielded metal enclosure and are fitted with bleed resistors to safely discharge the filter capacitors when the power is disconnected. The passive filter is safety-certified to EN60939-2, and the EMI filter is safety-certified to ANSI/UL1283. They offer a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +110°C, with full-power operation at temperatures up to +50°C.
