Introduction
The NTE3093 coupler uses an LED and an integrated high-gain photodetector to provide 3000V DC electrical isolation, 500V/μs common-mode transient immunity, and an extremely high current transfer ratio between input and output. Separate pins for the photodiode and output stage enable TTL-compatible saturation voltage and high-speed operation. If desired, the VCC and VO terminals can be connected together for conventional photo-Darlington operation. The base access terminal allows gain-bandwidth adjustment.
