Introduction
The FDMM features an IEC320-C14 power inlet with a dual fuse holder accessible from the front (when the mains connector is disconnected), combined with a low ground leakage medical IEC input filter in a compact single enclosure. It is suitable for mains-powered medical equipment requiring dual fuses and low ground leakage current. It provides excellent attenuation of conducted EMI from the mains supply while reducing any emissions conducted from the equipment back to the mains. Designed for Class I appliances, all models feature a shielded metal enclosure and are fitted with bleed resistors to safely discharge the filter capacitors when the power is disconnected. The passive filter is safety certified to EN60939-2, and the EMI filter is safety certified to ANSI/UL1283. They operate over a wide temperature range of -40℃ to +110℃, with full power operation up to +50℃.
