Introduction
EZ-PD PMG1-B1 is a highly integrated single-port USB Type-C power delivery solution with an integrated buck-boost controller. It complies with the latest USB Type-C and Power Delivery specifications. The device integrates gate drivers for VBUS NFETs in sink applications and includes hardware-controlled protection features on VBUS. As an integrated power delivery solution, it supports a wide input voltage range (4V to 24V, 40V tolerant) and a programmable switching frequency (150kHz to 600kHz). EZ-PD PMG1-B1 is the most programmable USB Power Delivery solution, featuring an on-chip 32-bit Arm Cortex-M0 processor, 128KB flash, 16KB RAM, and 32KB ROM, leaving the majority of flash memory available for user applications. It also includes a variety of analog and digital peripherals such as ADCs, PWMs, and timers.
