Introduction
The DRV595 is a high-efficiency, high-current power driver designed to drive a variety of loads in systems with supply voltages ranging from 4.5V to 26V. PWM operation and low output stage on-resistance significantly reduce power dissipation within the amplifier.
The DRV595 features an advanced oscillator/PLL circuit with multiple switching frequency options, implemented alongside a master/slave option to enable synchronization of multiple devices.
The DRV595 is fully protected against short circuit, overtemperature, overvoltage, and undervoltage conditions. Faults are reported to the processor to prevent device damage under overload conditions.
