The SN65LVDTxx devices are multi-channel LVDS transceivers utilizing LVDS line drivers and receivers. The SN65LVDTxx devices support signal transmission rates of at least 250Mbps, operate from a single supply (3.3V typical), and are available in a 20-pin TSSOP package for easy PCB layout. The SN65LVDT14 and SN65LVDT41 provide general-purpose, asymmetric, bidirectional communication with the additional benefits of high noise immunity and low EMI, while extending cable length through the use of LVDS lines. The SN65LVDT14 and SN65LVDT41 are primarily intended for LVDS serial peripheral interface applications. The SN65LVDT14 integrates one LVDS line driver and four terminated LVDS line receivers in a single package. The SN65LVDT14 can be used to extend asymmetric, bidirectional interfaces such as long-distance SPI, and should be placed on the SPI slave device. The SN65LVDT41 integrates four LVDS line drivers and one terminated LVDS line receiver in a single package. The SN65LVDT41 can be used to extend asymmetric, bidirectional interfaces such as long-distance SPI, and should be placed on the SPI master device.
