Introduction
Each channel of the ADS131E08S is equipped with an independent input multiplexer. This multiplexer can independently connect to internally generated signals for testing, temperature, and fault detection. Fault detection can be implemented inside the device using an integrated comparator and a trigger level controlled by a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The ADS131E08S can operate at a maximum data transfer rate of 64 kSPS. This complete analog front-end (AFE) solution comes in a 64-pin TQFP package and is rated for an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
