Introduction
MS9280 is a single-chip, single-supply, 10-bit, 35MSPS ADC with an integrated sample-and-hold amplifier and voltage reference. Utilizing a multi-stage differential pipeline architecture, it guarantees no missing codes across the full temperature range at a 35MSPS conversion rate. The input is suited for imaging, video, and communication system applications. Users can select either single-ended or differential input, as well as configure the input range and offset cancellation. The integrated sample-and-hold amplifier is compatible with both multiplexed systems and continuous channels switching across the full-scale voltage range. The input frequency of a sampled single channel can exceed the Nyquist frequency. With the internal clamp circuit, AC-coupled inputs can be shifted to a fixed DC level, maintaining excellent dynamic performance. An integrated programmable reference is provided, with the option to use an external high-precision reference to meet system accuracy requirements. A single clock input controls the internal conversion cycle. Digital output provides binary data, and an over-range detection bit indicates when the input signal exceeds the minimum or maximum quantization range. Operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V single supply, suitable for high-speed, low-power applications, and supports the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
