Introduction
The MCP6291/2/3/4/5 series op amps offer wide current bandwidth. This series features a 10 MHz GBWP and 65° phase margin. Operating from a single supply as low as 2.4V, these devices consume a typical quiescent current of 1 mA. In addition, the MCP6291/2/3/4/5 supports rail-to-rail input and output swing, with a common-mode input voltage range of VDD + 300 mV to VSS - 300 mV. The op amps in this series are fabricated using an advanced CMOS process. The MCP6295 is available in an 8-pin package with a chip select input (CS) for dual op amp configuration. This device is constructed by cascading two op amps — connecting the output of op amp A to the non-inverting input of op amp B. The CS input places the device into a low-power mode. The MCP6291/2/3/4/5 series operates over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, with a supply voltage range of 2.4V to 5.5V.
