Introduction
TMP102-Q1 is a digital temperature sensor ideal as a drop-in replacement for NTC and PTC thermistors in applications requiring high accuracy. The device provides ±0.5℃ accuracy without calibration or external component signal conditioning. The temperature sensor is highly linearized, enabling direct temperature readout without complex calculations or lookup tables. The on-chip 12-bit ADC delivers a resolution as low as 0.0625℃.
The 1.6mm×1.6mm SOT563 package is 68% smaller than the SOT23 package. The TMP102-Q1 features SMBus, two-wire, and I2C interface compatibility, supporting up to four devices on a single bus. The device also includes SMBus Alert functionality. It is rated for an operating voltage range of 1.4V to 3.6V, with a maximum quiescent current of 10μA across the full operating range.
The TMP102-Q1 is suited for operating temperature measurement in a wide range of applications including communications, computing, consumer products, environmental monitoring, industrial, and instrumentation. The device is rated for an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +125℃.
