Introduction
The OPA313 series of single-channel, dual-channel, and quad-channel operational amplifiers represents a new generation of low-cost, general-purpose, micropower operational amplifiers. The combination of rail-to-rail input and output swing, low quiescent current (typically 50μA), 1MHz wide bandwidth, and extremely low noise (25nV/√Hz at 1kHz) makes this series highly attractive for a variety of battery-powered applications that require a good balance between cost and performance. The low input bias current supports the use of these operational amplifiers in applications with megohm-level source impedance. The robust design of the OPA313 devices makes it convenient for circuit designers: unity-gain stability with load capacitance up to 150pF, an integrated RF/EMI rejection filter, no phase reversal under overdrive conditions, and high electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection (4kV human body model (HBM)). These devices are optimized for low-voltage operation from +1.8V (±0.9V) up to +5.5V (±2.75V), and are rated for operation over the full extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C at voltages of 1.8V, 3.3V, and 5V.
