The TPS6307x is a high-efficiency buck-boost converter with low quiescent current, designed for applications where the input voltage can be higher or lower than the output voltage. The output current can be up to 2A in both buck and boost modes. The buck-boost converter is based on a fixed-frequency, pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller that uses synchronous rectification to achieve maximum efficiency. At low load currents, the converter enters a power-save mode to maintain high efficiency across a wide load current range. The converter can be disabled to minimize battery consumption. During shutdown, the load is disconnected from the battery. The device is available in a 2.5mm × 3mm QFN package.
