Each OPB615, OPB625, and OPB665 series slotted optical switch consists of an 890nm infrared LED and a monolithic IC that integrates a photodiode, a linear amplifier, and a Schmitt trigger on a single silicon die. All devices in the series perform well over a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 16.0V, and can be specified with buffered or inverting outputs with a 10kΩ pull-up resistor, or open-collector outputs. These devices are also TTL/LSTTL compatible and can drive up to 10 TTL loads. Custom electrical, wire, cable, and connector configurations are available.
