The MUX-08 is a monolithic eight-channel analog multiplexer that connects a single output to one of eight analog inputs based on the state of a 3-bit binary address. Fabricated using Precision Monolithics' high-performance bipolar JFET technology, these devices provide low and constant "on" resistance, low leakage current, and fast settling time with low crosstalk to meet a wide range of application requirements. These multiplexers are free from the latchup and electrostatic discharge problems associated with comparable CMOS devices. The digital inputs are designed to operate at TTL and CMOS levels while consistently providing well-defined break-before-make switching throughout the operating temperature range, with no external pull-up resistors required.
