ST AIS2IHTR

AIS2IH is an ultra-low-power three-axis linear accelerometer fabricated using a proven micromachining process, designed for non-safety automotive applications. The sensor features user-selectable full scales of ±2g/±4g/±8g/±16g and is capable of measuring acceleration with output data rates ranging from 1.6Hz to 1600Hz. It integrates a 32-level FIFO buffer to store data and reduce host processor intervention. The device offers flexible switching between ultra-low-power mode and high-resolution, high-performance mode, while an embedded self-test function allows verification of sensor functionality within the end application. In addition, it includes a dedicated internal engine for motion and acceleration detection, covering free-fall, wake-up, highly configurable single/double-tap recognition, 6D/4D orientation, and activity/inactivity states. The AIS2IH is housed in a compact LGA package and is guaranteed to operate over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +115°C.
