AH3522/AH3524 is a high-voltage, high-sensitivity Hall-effect omnipolar switch IC designed for proximity, position, and liquid-level sensing in consumer appliances, office equipment, smart home, and industrial applications. To support a wide range of application requirements, it is optimized to operate over a broad supply voltage range of 3.0V to 28V. With a chopper-stabilized architecture and an internal bandgap regulator providing temperature-compensated power to internal circuitry, the device delivers a reliable solution across the entire operating range. For enhanced robustness and protection, a reverse-blocking diode and Zener clamp are integrated at the supply pin. The output features overcurrent limiting and Zener clamping. The single open-drain output can be triggered on by a sufficiently strong south-pole or north-pole magnetic field. When the magnetic flux density (B) perpendicular to the package exceeds the operate point (BOP), the output turns on (pulls low) and remains on until the flux density B falls below the release point (BRP).
