Low-cost SCALE-2+ dual-channel driver core 2SC0108T2G0-17 (connector pin length 3.1mm, suitable for PCB thickness 2mm; enhanced EMI capability; implements SSD; lead-free) / 2SC0108T2G0C-17 (coated version) combines compactness with broad applicability. The driver is designed for general-purpose applications requiring high reliability. The 2SC0108T2G0(C)-17 drives all common IGBT modules up to 600A/1200V or 450A/1700V. The embedded paralleling capability simplifies inverter designs covering higher power ratings. Multi-level topologies are also supported. The 2SC0108T2G0(C)-17 is a compact driver core for industrial applications with a footprint of only 45×34.3mm and a maximum plug-in height of 16mm, enabling effective utilization of even confined installation spaces. Compared to conventional drivers, the highly integrated SCALE-2+ chipset eliminates approximately 85% of components — an advantage that simultaneously improves reliability and minimizes cost. The 2SC0108T2G0(C)-17 integrates a complete two-channel driver core with all components required for gate driving, including an isolated DC/DC converter, short-circuit protection, soft shutdown (SSD), and supply voltage monitoring. Each of the two output channels is galvanically isolated from the primary side and from the other secondary channel. Each channel delivers 8A output current and 1W drive power, making the 2SC0108T2G0(C)-17 a versatile driver platform for low-to-medium power applications. The driver provides a gate voltage swing of +15V/-8V. The turn-on voltage is regulated to maintain a stable 15V regardless of output power level. Its EMC performance enables safe and reliable operation even in demanding industrial applications.
