The MIC22400 is a high-efficiency, 4A integrated switching synchronous buck (step-down) regulator. The MIC22400 is optimized for maximum efficiency, achieving greater than 90% efficiency at 1MHz across a wide load range. The ultra-fast control loop maintains output voltage stability even under the extreme transient load variations commonly found in FPGAs and low-voltage ASICs. The output voltage is adjustable down to 0.7V to meet all low-voltage power supply requirements. The MIC22400 provides complete sequencing and tracking options. The EN/DLY pin, used in conjunction with the power-on reset (POR) pin, allows multiple outputs to be sequenced in any order during power-up and power-down. The ramp control (RC) pin allows the device to be connected with other MIC22400 family products to keep output voltages within a defined V window during startup.

The MIC22400 is available in a 20-pin 3 mm x 4 mm QFN package and a thermally enhanced 20-pin ePad TSSOP package, with a junction temperature operating range of -40°C to +125°C.
