The ATGBICS-compatible PLRXPL-SX-S43-22-N-C transceiver is an ultra-compact 10Gb/s optical transceiver module designed for 10Gb/s serial optical communication applications. The PLRXPL-SX-S43-22-N-C converts 10Gb/s serial electrical data streams to 10Gb/s optical output signals, and converts 10Gb/s optical input signals to 10Gb/s serial electrical data streams. The high-speed 10Gb/s electrical interface is fully compliant with the SFI specification. A high-performance 850nm VCSEL transmitter and high-sensitivity PIN receiver deliver superior performance for Ethernet applications over links up to 300m. The SFP+ module complies with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR standards. Digital diagnostic functions are accessible via a 2-wire serial interface as specified in SFF-8472. The fully SFP-compliant form factor provides hot-pluggable capability, easy optical port upgrades, and low EMI emissions.
